Oregon Ducks’ Dillon Gabriel on ‘Fantastic Conversations’ with NFL -Speider on Senior Bowl

Previous Oregon anchor Quarterback Dillon Gabriel will start the next chapter in their life after completing a historical College career.

Gabriel is now as one of the biggest names presence on Reese’s Senior Bowl In Mobile, al. this week when he looks to impress Nfl scouts in the hope of being selected in 2025 NFL Draft in a few months.

He talked about how the experience has been in Mobile during an interview Tuesday with NFL Network.

“It’s been really good,” Gabriel said. “Fantastic conversations and something I am extremely sure of and comfortable in, whether it is to talk ball, get on the white board, talk some games or just ask questions about who I am.”

Many football fans and some Speider doubt Gabriel’s ability to have long -term success in the NFL, but he emphasized that he is focused on being himself throughout the process.

“I’m sure, know what I represent, and every day, with the lights on or off, I’m the same person,” Gabriel said. “So I don’t have to be someone I am not … It is most important to be your authentic self, because you do not want to mispaach yourself. As a player we must not choose. The coaches choose this time.

Gabriel’s college career did not have the end as he wanted, but in 2024 marked a season with large milestones for the former UCF and Oklahoma star. He became FBS all the time leader in Total Touchdowns (189) and finished his college career in second place on NCAA’s list of all the time (18 722) behind before Houston Cougars Quarterback Case Keenum.

Gabriel ended his only season in Eugene 326 out of 447 passed for 3,857 meters, 30 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also brought 75 berries for 149 meters and seven touchdowns on the ground.

Although Gabriel goes on his separate roads, he will keep close tabs on the ducks next season and has confidence in what Quarterbacks Dante Moore and Austin Novosad can do ahead.

“They’re in a great place,” Gabriel said, per 247sports.“Coach Lanning will never be in a place where there is not enough talent. He will have the guys he wants in his program. I am excited for that room.”

The 2025 NFL Draft Starts on Thursday, April 24 in Green Bay. As for the ducks, their season starts 2025 on Saturday, August 30 at home against Montana State.
