In response to all hype and chats on the same thing, Elon Musk suggested that Deepseek may have about 50,000 Nvidia Hopper GPUs. This opposes the 10,000 A100s that Deepseek claims to have. Musk shared his opinion in response to the latest comments from Alexandr Wang, the billionaire’s CEO of scale AI, who also stated that Deepseek probably has about 50,000 Nvidia H100S.
Musk and Wang both believe that Deepseek cannot reveal the actual number of GPUs due to US export controls currently available. To this Musk replied: “Lmao no.” (Here is LMAO to laugh my ass).

Musk also made fun of the fact that the start was a product from China’s lab; Poster to connect it to coronavirus, which also originates from a lab in China. “R1 leaked from a lab in China,” published a user. Elon Musk responded with “face with tears of joy” emoji.
