The activist responds to the Congress leader’s response to immigration protest in Albertville

Albertville, ala. (Knit) – After dozens of activists marched the streets of Albertville and spoke against President Donald Trump’s immigration policy, congressman Robert Aderholt shared his anxiety and criticism.

Those who marched these streets say no matter what, they do not support.

Michelle Medina was the organizer of the peaceful protest among immigration activists who took place in Albertville earlier this week.

The group spoke against President Trump’s implementation of immigration and customs administration (ICE) throughout the state.

“We have to talk because many of our parents are scared. Much of our society is afraid so we were as if we had to talk and do it for them, ”Medina said.

In response, Congress Member Robert Aderholt issued a statement and claimed that the demonstration was “About”.

He said that every rhetoric that undermines the essential ice work is “dangerous.” Medina says that the fear that IS as potentially entering schools was a great driver for the protest.

“What crimes have these teens, these young children have committed to deserve to be scared in schools? The school is for education, ”Medina said.

While understanding the need to capture undocumented violent criminals, Medina feels that this new policy is blaming the innocent.

“We are more concerned that they are on their way to the innocent people who simply come here to work better with their lives. Why delete them when they simply don’t do anything wrong? “Medina said.

Medina said that plans are already in work for an even bigger march in Birmingham in the coming weeks.
