Publicly prompt to participate in SARS E-Filing Survey

Monday 3 February 2025

The Office of the Tax Obud (OTO) has urged taxpayers to participate in a survey on their experience with the help of oxygen African Revenue Service (SARS) E-Filing System.

“Oto appeals to the taxpayers and taxpayers’ representatives to participate in the survey on their experiences and challenges when it comes to cutting e-feeding,” the agent said on Monday.

In August last message, Oto announced that it sought and received approval from the finance minister to conduct a review of possible systemic and new questions related to alleged SARS service errors to help taxpayers with e-profile hiking time, in terms of section 16 (1 ) (b) in the Tax Administration Act, 28 2011.

This followed complaints and questions received by OTO from the taxpayers and industry bodies, as well as the public workshop with SARS, taxpayers and industry bodies on June 13, 2024.

The purpose of the survey is to collect information that helps OTO in his investigation and compilation of the report thereafter.
