American Senators Bernie Moreno from Ohio and Tim Scott in South Carolina introduced a new legislation aimed at providing President Donald Trump to set sanctions against foreign governments that refuse to accept the migrant’s return from the United States

“Our bill will give President Trump all the authority he needs to apply maximum pressure against corrupt individuals in foreign governments who refuse to let the United States secure our borders,” Moreno said.

The bill was named the suffocating transnational operations and proliferators by mitigating activities that drive the Drugs Act, exploitation and smuggling of sanctions (Stop Madness).

Stop Madness also aims to set sanctions on individuals who voluntarily facilitate illegal immigration and authorize the president to block individuals from assets and limit transactions, invoke the Act on International Emergency Situations (IEPA).

Senator Scott talked about the importance of this law and says “If a foreign unit shows resistance to repatriation or enables illegal immigration to the United States, they should meet with the full power of our economic and national security tools.”

The bill will also require reports based on these measures if and when the president executes the bill to give the congress openness to further legislative measures.
