Santa Anita Racetrack suits his former director of publicity, who claims he was fired for “refusing to lie” about “alleged misconduct” in the middle of a nail in horse death cases in winter 2019.

Mike Willman was fired in March after working for Santa Anita for 19 years. Willman’s mood claims that he received a false reason, which involved his use of inappropriate language to an employee. The costume says that Willman opposed the other managers’ attempt to put out false stories to divert responsibility for the horse death cases “away from” surface problems, soil, extreme weather and handling of the same “and instead blame educators.

The costume, submitted in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, claims track leader who conducts age discrimination and slander of nature and disturbed Willman’s ability to find new employment in the competition industry.
