Tampa, Fla. – Tampa Police Department is investigating a murder of a teenager being shot in Tampa that happened on Wednesday evening.

TPD said that officers responded to the incident that someone was shot at the 8200 quarter in the Hillsborough Lane around 18.00 when they arrived, they found the victim, a black male in the middle of the teens with the trauma of the upper body.

The police said that the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Detective said while early in the investigation, they believe that the people involved were known to each other.
