The Bleacher report captures you on the latest news from the WWE universe.

Cena planned to be reported to win the elimination chamber

John Cena only fell briefly in her attempt to win the men’s Royal Rumble match last weekend, but there is reportedly a huge victory in his future.

According to Dave Meltzer from Wrestling observer news letter (H/t Wrestler), Cena has been planned to win the men’s elimination chamber match “since probably October or November.”

Last year, Cena announced that 2025 would be his last year in WWE as an active I-ring competitor.

In the debut section of RAW on Netflix, Cena made it to its stated goal to win Rumble, move on to Wrestlemania 41 and become a 17-o’clock world champion, who would break his tie with Ric Flair for the record all the time.

Cena seemed to be intended for victory when he made it to the last two with Jey Uso, but USO shocked the wrestling world by eliminating Cena for the victory.

After Rumble, Cena Media spoke during the Royal Rumble post-show and emphasized the importance of winning the elimination chamber match to earn a world title match at Wrestlemania.

Instead of being forced to qualify, Cena got a place in the chamber match, which means he will be one of six superstars in the match with high efforts in Toronto.

It was generally assumed that he came out of Rumble that Cena was the favorite of the elimination chamber, so Meltzer’s report on WWE’s long -term plans for Cena to win the Chamber will come as a little surprise.

Reported reasoning for Reign’s injury angle

Seth Rollins’ Stomp to Roman Reign’s head on Royal Rumble was reportedly made for a reason in addition to building a history between Reigns and Rollins.

According to Meltzer (H/T. Wrestler), Stomp was meant to write reign from television so that he does not have to take a pin in the upcoming elimination chamber match.

During the later stages of the men’s Royal Rumble match, Reigns and Rollins fought near the ropes when CM punk appeared and threw both out of the ring at the same time.

While admiring his craft, Punk was thrown away from Logan Paul and took three of the best challengers out of the equation.

The three superstars argued outside the ring until Rollins stomped Reign’s head on the floor and then threw their hands with punk. The Rollins then raised Ante by stomping the stem manager’s head on the steel stairs.

Punk has already qualified for men’s elimination chamber match with Cena, and it seems very likely that Rollins will also earn themselves in the match.

Assuming it happens, it is easy to imagine Reigns that makes an uninhibited appearance at the elimination chamber to screw rolls and perhaps even punk out of the victory.

Pwinsider.com (h/t Steve Carrier Of Ringside News) reported that he came out of Rumble, which reigns against Rollins against punk in a triple threat is the current plan for Wrestlemania 41.

If that is really the case, the scene has been properly set to build against three of WWE’s top stars who collide on the biggest stage of them all.

Stratton responds to Mandy Roses critical comments

Wwe Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton patted back on former WWE star Mandy Rose in an interview this week.

During a behavior on Call BelleStratton was asked about Rose recently and said on his podcast that Stratton used her slogan, “put some respect on my name.” Rose added, “This B — h even used as the same type of tone.”

Stratton’s response suggested that she did not sweat Mandy’s confronting tone, because she replied: “Honestly, I think it is a little sad that she felt the need to go on her podcast and say something similar. But I wish her the best, honest. “

When Stratton began its WWE driving in NXT at the end of 2021, Rose was in the middle of what would be a 413-day reign as NXT Women’s Champion, which is the third longest government in the history of the title.

Before she was released from WWE in December 2022, Rose had returned to NXT after experiencing success on the main list, and she finally seemed to beat her step as a pro wrestler.

At the same time, Stratton established itself as one of the fastest rising stars in NXT history, and she eventually became NXT Women’s Champion in her own right.

After being invited to the main list, Stratton won the women’s money in the bank steps last year, and she successfully paid on nia Jax to become WWE Women’s Champion last month.

Despite its relatively limited experience, Stratton has been placed as one of the best women’s wrestlers in WWE, and she is likely to compete in a huge single match at Wrestlemania 41.

With that in mind, it is not surprising that Stratton chooses to avoid getting involved with everything that distracts from her rise to the top of WWE.
