An immigration consultant who is accused of being involved in illegal job sales still works during the investigation of immigration New Zealand (Inz).

The authorities also say that another person has made a complaint about immigration advisor Heidi Castelucci, in addition to four already submitted.

Castelucci – also known as Qian Yu – is married to Auckland -based Liberty Consulting Group’s director and in a conversation recorded by a migrantwas heard offer a work path to housing in return for money.

The company has hired at least one migrant and also acts as a consulting company and supports migrant clients through documentation processes.

According to New Zealand’s work visa system (AEWV), companies can usually only recruit migrants on immigration New Zealand (Inz) decide that they should be accredited, and Liberty’s accreditation is currently being interrupted.

Inz, the labor inspector, the immigration counselor’s authority and compliance with immigration are all housed within MBIE.

A spokesman for Mbie said that an employer’s accreditation can be revoked if violations of standards are found, and the result of the investigation of Liberty Consulting depends on this month.

Inz did not respond directly if an immigration consulting company could continue to function when its accreditation is interrupted or interrupted, but established a company’s right to continue employing people.

“There is a right process when considering whether to turn off or revoke an employer’s accreditation,” said a spokeswoman for MBIE.

“The cases are assessed individually, with all related business areas within MBIE, including Inz, working together.

“During suspension, the company cannot sponsor further migrants under AEWV, but they can hire a migrant on an open work visa or someone who is a New Zealand citizen or resident.”

At the same time, Castelucci left the country shortly after the charges appear, but Inz said she has returned to New Zealand.

“Immigration Advisers Authority may confirm that it has five current complaints about YU. Two complaints have been referred to immigration advisor Disciplinary Court of Determination.

“Mrs. YU cannot currently exercise as a licensed immigration advisor because she has a provisional license and does not have a current supervisor or surveillance agreement approved by the immigration advisors.”

Of course, at least one of the five complaints about her is from a migrant who says she did not submit a visa application.

She has previously told RNZ that it would be inappropriate for her to comment while the immigration adviser’s authority was ongoing.

Her husband Toby Castelucci, who runs Liberty Consulting in Rosedale, denies all errors.
