Will Smith still holds a grudge against comedian Chris Rock after the 2022 Oscars slap gate incident.

A source spilled to In Touch Weekly that Will gets the last laugh and he loves it after he punched Chris three years ago for joking about wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss.

After the incident, Chris got all the love from the viewers and Will, on the other hand, received backlash for his overreaction to a joke.

Another source said Will would never forgive Chris for ruining his life because of the bad press he got at the time.

Will “still hates” Chris for his “smug attitude,” an insider said.

Interestingly, Will’s career is going strong even after the incident but Chris hit a dead end.

The reason is that Chris would bring up the incident at every other live show and the audience had grown tired of his constant complaints which were now becoming petty.

“Chris is not the victim here, not in Will’s opinion,” an insider remarked.

The source went on to say that several people would agree with Will.

“People think what’s happening to Chris is karma because he refuses to talk to Will or accept his apology,” an insider explained.

As for Chris, the comedian is still haunted by what happened on the Oscars stage.

“He suffers from PTSD. Like Will, he has never recovered from that blow,” an insider noted.

In the end, the source added that people feel the “best thing” would be for Will and Chris to get together and “hug it out,” but both stars are “too proud.”
