Police! Police throws ring off steel around Jeremy Clarkson’s pub after travelers filled the parking lot before Pony and Trap Road race

Jeremy Clarkson rushed to his Cotswold pub to find the police surrounding his parking lot after it was filled with travelers before pony and fall in the area.

The locals were warned by the police to stay away from the farmer’s dog after reports of a large collection of horse -drawn wagons that arrived before 8 o’clock in the pub’s parking lot.

The previous top gear arrived while police cars there still parked outside his pub and said it was a “good job” that travelers had arrived early before most of the players tend to arrive.

A vehicle was arrested for not having any insurance but Thames Valley police repeated that “Pony and Trap Racing is not an illegal activity” and they were at the pub to “monitor for any dangerous or criminal activity”.

The pub in the village of Cotswold Burford was opened in August last year by the TV presenter who bought the site for £ 1 million and is based about 12 miles from Diddly Squat Farm on which his main video series Clarksons farm is based on.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said: ‘The Thames Valley Police was placed to the site of the A40 area in Witney because of a privately organized pony and trap event that had been gathered.

“Pony and Trap Racing is not an illegal activity, but we have been on stage to maintain the public for the public and monitor for dangerous or criminal activity of those who participate in the event.

“The disturbance in the road network was minimal and the event is now complete. A vehicle was arrested so as not to have any insurance.

“We will always work to maintain public security and minimize the disruption in our communities and take robust measures where we have legal reasons to do so.”

After talking to the police at the scene, Oxfordshire published the County Council Liam Walker on Facebook and said that the collection would take place in Buckinghamshire but “clearly changed the place early tomorrow”.

“In fact, it is not illegal to carry out this type of business so the legal powers for the police are very limited,” he said.

“Police are still in place while the last 20 vehicles leave the pub park. The pub plans to open again from 13:00. ‘

He added that “it is expected that another such event will be held tomorrow morning but that place is currently not known”.

Thames Valley Police had issued a spread order in section 34 in the adjacent county Buckinghamshire after notifying an “unauthorized” pony and trap event that is expected to take place this weekend.

The order is currently in place in Gerrard’s cross and Chalfont St Peter area and is in force until 3 on Monday.

The power published on social media: ‘We have a comprehensive police operation in place to implement preventive measures and ensure public security. Our officers will take action if necessary if crime is identified. ‘

Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissions, Matthew Barber also published and said: ‘Out in Chalfont St Peter before dawn this morning, and talked to officers in the ground who police the spread order that is in place over the weekend to prevent disturbances in society from pony and trap Racing on A413.

“There is a large police operation in place over the weekend and a significant police presence to maintain the spread order.”

However, it is believed that the event moved place early tomorrow to avoid the spread order and instead took place on the A40 in Oxfordshire next to Mr Clarkson’s pub.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the farmer’s dog could be forced to close their parking lot which allows it to welcome hundreds of players at a time because it is next to a historical grave.

The parking lot is adjacent to a listed ancient monument, a 1400 -year -old funeral hill containing the remains of an Angel Saksian warlord, and there are suggestions that it can be damaged by the number of cars that are now arriving.

As soon as Clarkson acquired the pub rent, he knew he needed to increase its parking capacity – because of what happened earlier when he opened his extremely popular Diddly Squat farm shop near Chadlington, and it was presented in the show.

Fans soon came in their hundreds caused traffic jams with players parked for miles around the grass branches of narrow single tracks, blocked roads and caused rage among the neighbors.

Large queues in Clarkson’s farm shop are not uncommon, with many fans who often wait for hours to get a glimpse inside what has now become a tourist attraction.

The TV presenter – who recently had a heart surgery due to stress – recently talked about how desperate the pub trade was and listed a number of difficulties he has had since the opening.

Clarkson previously said how his pub – runs only on British products – is a “total disaster” behind the scenes when thefts, traffic chaos and toilet nightmares expire.

When the farmer’s dog first opened August, many had traveled from long and wide to the picturesque spot for a chance for a half, with the parking lot framed within an hour after the opening.
