Las Vegas police investigate murder of homeless man found with stickers

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department examines the murder of a man found dead from obvious stab wounds in the 2200 block of Renaissance Drive, near Tropicana Avenue and Eastern Avenue.

The police said they received a call around 13:30 Friday from someone who thought there was a deceased person in the laundry.

Officers from the command in South Central Area answered and discovered the body of a man who was homeless and lived in the laundry.

The murder detective has been called to investigate the incident.

Witnesses reported that the victim was involved in an argument with another man on Thursday evening between 10.00 and 17.00. 22.00 on Friday.

Detective said that while talking to witnesses, one of the men they interviewed the description of the individual who had the victim.

However, the police said that the man is not considered a suspect at this early stage of the investigation.

Authorities believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
