Will Arsenal win the Premier League title? Their top four chances to past Liverpool revealed

Arsenal are LiverpoolS closest challenger in Premier League -Titel Race. But can they catch the reds?

Right now Liverpool is six points ready for Arsenal at the top of the Premier League. But that gap can be extended to nine when Arsenal the next kick off. That’s because Liverpool will play his game in hand, against Evertonbefore the next official round of fixtures.

As a result, Liverpool is odd favorites to win the title. Not because Arsenal will go down without struggle, until it is mathematically impossible for them to take over Liverpool.

The question is, does Gunners have enough opportunities to reduce the points gap? When Liverpool meets Everton, both them and Arsenal will have 14 league matches left of the season. Despite Liverpool’s dominant form, there will be chances.

Below we have selected what we think is Arsenal’s four best gameweeps to potentially chase Liverpool to take the title.

Gameweek 26

  • Arsenal vs West Ham

  • Man City vs Liverpool

The first opportunity for the gap to be reduced is not so far away. Now, Manchester City Isn’t it the power plant that they are usually this season, but it will still be tough for Liverpool to go to Etihad. Much tougher than Arsenal’s home game against West Ham UnitedAt least.

Arsenal has the advantage of playing first weekend, knowing that they can put the pressure on Liverpool. Gunners has won his last two matches against West Ham with a total score of 11-2. Although both of these victories came at London Stadium, Arsenal will still be reinforced by their home form. Arsenal is the only team that is not yet losing at home in the Premier League this season, won eight and draws four of their 12 games so far. West Ham is also struggling to find his feet under Graham Potter.

Liverpool is meanwhile the only team that does not lose a game from home this season. They have won nine and drawn three of their 12 league matches on the road. But they have been known to release points in the league at Etihad. Man City is unbeaten in the last eight secret matches against Liverpool, then a defeat of 1-4 in November 2015. Man City has won four of these matches, with four draws.

Gameweek 34

If Arsenal wants to take over Liverpool, they may need to be patience. The next time they have an obviously favorable matchup is not until Gameweek 34. Both teams are at home like Gameweek, with Arsenal Hosting Crystal Palace. Now Eagles has the best defensive record this season and only allows 11 goals on the road. But Arsenal is the best home team in the league, undefeated in their 12 matches at the time of writing, won eight and drew four. And Arsenal has won its last six matches against Palace in all competitions, including twice this season already.

Liverpool Entertain Tottenham Hotspur The same weekend, and these games are usually filled with drama and goals. Of course, Arsenal will not have happy memories from relying on a Tottenham result against title drives. Liverpool has won three of its last five matches against Tottenham, including a 4-0 victory in the Carabao Cup semi-final second stage. They have also been undefeated at home against Tottenham since May 2011. But Tottenham will hope to be fresher when they visit Anfield in April, especially in defense. Things are not safe in Arsenal’s advantage, but they have a chance.

Gameweek 35

  • Arsenal Against Bournemouth

  • Chelsea vs Liverpool

The potential title changed games become thick and fast. In Gameweek 35, Arsenal has another home game, this time against Bournemouth. During the winter, Bournemouth was one of the best teams in the Premier League along with Arsenal and Liverpool and went on a long undefeated driving. But that run was completed by Liverpool, and now Arsenal hopes to copy its rivals. Again, Arsenal’s home form will play here and their record against Bournemouth. Gunners has never lost at home against cherries in all competitions. In fact, they have a perfect record in the eight matches that these two have questioned at Highbury and the Emirate.

Again, Liverpool has a game that they can probably expect to win. But it will not be easy when traveling to Stamford Bridge to meet Chelsea. Blues has been an interesting team this season, difficult to predict what their results will be. They have done better on the road than at home and do not have a good record against their colleagues large six pages. But Liverpool has not won during the last three visits to Stamford Bridge – and drew all three.

This gameweek will also come between potential Champions League semi-finals for Liverpool and Arsenal. And if you had to choose between these two fixtures, you would rather have Bournemouth at home than Chelsea away.

Gameweek 36

In an ideal world for the neutral, everything can come to this. If the first three fixtures go Arsenal’s path, this may be their chance to grab the title race in the dying stages. It would be everything on them.

Liverpool has the upper hand in this game, regardless of the layout of the league, which hosts Arsenal at Anfield. The reds have lost only once at home so far this season, beaten by Nottingham Forest In September. Arsenal is the third best away in Premier League-but they have only won six of their 12 matches on the road.

Arsenal has also not won at Anfield in its last 14 visits, since an 0-2 defeat in September 2012. Although they beat the reds from the Carabao Cup in October 2020, they had to do so after penalties. This is not at all a simple game for Arsenal, but it is the only match in Liverpool that Gunners can control.
