Mutual tariffs and immigration will be the most important focus for the long -awaited meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Donald Trump when the US president tries to reshape US bond with the world and its allies during its second term. PM Modi, who landed in Washington DC on Thursday after a fruitful visit to France, has a jam-filled schedule that includes a meeting with the technical Titan Elon Musk and Indian-American entrepreneur and politician Vivek Ramaswamy.

On Friday, Prime Minister Modi will hold a meeting at the delegation level with Trump and key members in his cabinet in the White House followed by bilateral conversations. It will be followed by a joint press conference and a dinner worth of the US president.
